Rossendale Children's Day 2002 was a full children's festival running from 23rd August 2002 until 1st September 2002 .

A full entertainment program was scheduled for both Sunday 25th August and Sunday 1st September (possibly also including Bank Holiday Monday 26th August).

Skating was again be FREE for children each Sunday, with skating on all other days charged at £4.00 per 2 hours (including skate hire).

Alexei and Natalia performed a special show for the event, and there was other skating exhibitions by youngsters from Blackpool Ice Arena.

The coach trip to Blackpool took place on 29th August. The coach load of children got a free trip to Blackpool to see the Hot Ice Show, visit the Pleasure Beach and much more.

As you can see - the whole week was a jam packed full of fun and skating for the whole of Rossendale, with many attractions being organised to run alongside the main mobile Ice Skating Rink outside the Old Cobblers Inn, Rawtenstall.

Rossendale Children's Day 2003 was hold on 13th of September. Natalia and Alexei managed to find two weeks off from their busy schedule working on a cruise ship Adventure of the Seas in the Caribbean to make sure the latest Rossendale Children's day still went ahead. They took 40 children to Blackpool Pleasure Beach to enjoy a free rides and McDonald's happy meals on the way home.
